Jerrell Moore is senior executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Cadence Bank. In this role, he leads the bank’s enterprise-wide people strategy, overseeing talent management, succession planning, organizational development, and performance. He is a member of the Cadence Executive Management Committee, helping shape the bank’s strategic direction and culture.

Prior to joining Cadence, Moore held senior leadership roles at Google and Assurant, where he led global initiatives in people strategy, inclusion and organizational transformation. With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, he has also served in leadership positions at Spectrum Cable, Burger King and Nike, bringing deep expertise in workforce strategy, executive development and business growth through people.

A recognized thought leader, Moore has been invited twice to the White House to contribute to national discussions on technology inclusion and educational excellence. He has served on advisory boards for the NCAA and held board roles with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the YMCA. He currently serves on the board of 100 Black Men of Atlanta. Moore holds a bachelor’s degree in English from South Carolina State University and both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Human Resources from the University of South Carolina.
