Edward "Billy" H. Braddock

Chief Banking Officer

Billy Braddock serves as the Bank’s Chief Banking Officer. Having joined the Bank in April 2011, he brings 30 years of banking and finance experience to this role. Mr. Braddock has held various leadership roles at Cadence Bank including Chief Credit Officer, Commercial & Industrial Group Manager, Energy Services Group Manager, Special Assets Group Manager and Treasury Management Executive.

Mr. Braddock began his career in banking at NationsBank, N.A. After receiving his graduate degree, he served in trading and corporate development roles in the merchant energy business before returning to banking with BOKF, N.A., where he led the commercial banking practice in Houston.

Mr. Braddock is an active volunteer in his community and serves on the Texas A&M University Commercial Banking Program Advisory Board. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
