TUPELO, Miss. – March 22, 2024 – Cadence Bank announced donations to 17 nonprofit organizations throughout the state totaling $1.25 million supporting its corporate vision of helping people, companies and communities prosper. The number of organizations receiving donations this year grew from seven to 17, and each has innovative programs helping Mississippians in one or more critical areas: children’s education, food insecurity or women’s and family healthcare.

Dan Rollins, chairman and CEO of Cadence Bank, said the strategy for making these donations is pretty straightforward.

“We are making meaningful connections and investments in local organizations throughout Mississippi which have outstanding programs addressing areas of need and where we think our investments will make a difference,” said Rollins. “By putting our values in action, we are helping create positive impacts making for stronger communities. And strong communities build strong banks.”

Rollins added, “To us, community relationships go beyond traditional banking products and services. Whether we’re making monetary donations or engaging in hands-on volunteer work, these are ways we show we care.”

Catholic Charities, Vardaman Family Life Center ($50,000) After-school reading and tutoring for kindergarten to third grade students

Canopy Children’s Solutions – Jackson ($200,000) Expanded behavioral health, educational and family support solutions

Faith Haven – Tupelo ($100,000) – Emergency shelter for abused, abandoned and neglected children

Methodist Children’s Homes – Jackson ($100,000) Expanded individual services for neglected, abandoned youth

Sally Kate Winters Memorial Children’s Home –West Point ($200,000) Emergency youth shelter and children’s advocacy programs

Food Insecurity – $200,000 total gifts

Mississippi Food Network – Jackson ($50,000) Statewide food distribution
