JACKSON, Miss., April 4, 2023 – Cadence Bank (NYSE: CADE) announced today its support of Methodist Children’s Home of Mississippi (MCH) with a $200,000 contribution, helping the organization fulfill its mission to bring hope and healing to hurting children in Mississippi.

This donation will help MCH grow and expand its programs, especially its Independent Living Program, which equips youth aged 14 to 21 years with the skills they need to be successful, productive citizens. “Cadence Bank is committed to helping organizations like MCH support the children and youth who have been neglected or abused,” said Kim Jones, vice president, relationship manager, community development and engagement. “We are proud to serve the Jackson community and deeply appreciate and respect the influence this impactful organization has on the children and families across Mississippi."

Methodist Children’s Homes has been providing care and love for children and families in Mississippi since 1896. Originally an orphanage, MCH has cared for more than 11,000 children for more than a century. The organization has grown from its original location in Water Valley, Mississippi to multiple homes across the state. Its primary campus is located in Jackson, Mississippi.
