JACKSON, Miss., March 22, 2023 – Cadence Bank (NYSE: CADE) today announced a $200,000 donation to Catholic Charities, Inc. (Catholic Charities), supporting the organization's focus on helping the most vulnerable, especially children, women and families.

Catholic Charities will use the contribution to support the Vardaman Family Life Center, which serves the needs of all people regardless of religious affiliation, race, color or country of origin within Vardaman, Mississippi and across Northeast Mississippi. The center provides an after- school program for students, a summer children’s camp, basic ESL (English as a Second Language) classes, support and community referral services as well as emergency assistance to families experiencing financial hardships.

Catholic Charities, established in 1837 and headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi, today serves the 65 counties of the Diocese of Jackson. Since its founding, the agency has continued to expand its programs to serve Mississippians in new ways, including maternity care for unwed mothers and foster care for emotionally disturbed children and refugee children. Other services include alcohol and substance abuse services, Hope Haven home-based and residential services, two domestic violence centers, two rape crisis centers, emergency assistance, family life ministry, family counseling, refugee resettlement and social services, legal aid for immigrants, children’s mental health programs, and housing for low-income families and the elderly.
