Michelle N. Hodge Promoted to Deputy Regional President of Cadence Bank in Texas

The 18-year banking veteran, formerly in a leadership role at Industry Bancshares, joins Cadence Bank’s Texas Region leadership team following the July acquisition.

INDUSTRY, TEXAS – October 17, 2025 – Cadence Bank is pleased to announce that Michelle N. Hodge has been promoted to deputy regional president and joins the Texas Region leadership team led by Lester Lucy, regional president. Hodge was most recently in a leadership role with Industry Bancshares and joined Cadence following the July acquisition.


Hodge has been in the banking sector for more than 18 years, including 13 years with the Texas Department of Banking where she was a division director and a senior bank examiner. She will continue serving on the faculty at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in Boulder and on the advisory board for the Texas Tech School of Banking.

Hodge is a graduate of Texas Tech University and the Graduate of School of Banking at Colorado. For the last 13 years, she has participated in various Susan G. Komen events, bringing in funds for breast cancer research.
